    Shirts are not made in the homes. You would get linen, cotton and silk shirts to buy in the shops. There are no accounts of shirts made from linen which was made from flacks grown locally.
    Socks are knitted localy. The thread is not spun in the homes but it is bought in the shops.
    Special types of clothes are worn such as at funerals black is worn by the chif mourners.
