  2. About one acre of land is planted under potatoes. When a man has no plough he pays a farmer to plough the ground. Then they harrow it and make drills. In the valley between the two ridges they put manure. Then they put the seed potatoes about a foot apart. Then they close the drills. This means they cover the (drills) potatoes.
    Later on they "land them" which means putting more clay up on them with a plough. When the make ridges they make
