  1. Cures and Superstitions
    1 To cure warts bandage the parts affected in oatmeal Stirabout.
    2 Rub them with a black snail and hang him on a thorn. The warts wither as he does. (You must not look our for a snail)
    3. Snail water which lies on the top of rocks or in their cavities is also supposed to cure warts when rubbed on them.
    4 Some have "the cure" for warts on animals. I saw a beast in a bad way the warts hanging in large balls on the belly. When "the cure" was tried it was successful. The "curer"
