  2. In Beamond in a field owned by Mr Matthews of Annaghor, fairies were seen playing football. The field stretches from the bottom of a steep hill known as Flynn's Hill to Beamond Cross. The fairies were seen by Mr John Kennedy when coming from Beamond Post Office. They wore hoble shirts, and kicked a small round shaped ball. Their height was about one foot and a half.
