  1. During the penal days priests went about reading Mass in secret and hiding about the country.
    One day a priest came to a farmers house where a lot of neighbours were assembled. He went upstairs and began to say mass in a room at the roof of the house.
    When Mass was going on, the priest hunters were near. The priest escaped, aftering hiding the Blessed Sacrement in behind a loose brick in the wall.
    For fifty years after every night a bright light shone down on a bed in the room.
