  1. There are a lot of animals on the farm namely:- the horse, the cow, the pig, the goat, the donkey, the hens, the geese, the turkeys, the ducks, and the chickens.
    HORSE
    The horse is kept in a stable tied with a halter around his neck.
    Feeding stuffs
    Grass, hay, oats, mangolds and whintops mashed up.
    COW
    The cows are kept in byres tied with chains around the neck.
    The cows do not be kept in the stables in Summer time.
    Feeding stuffs
    Cow:- grass, hay turnips, mangolds, oaten straw, beet pulp.
    Slillage, the offal from the alcohol factories is often given to cows to help to increase milk production
    Pig - Potatoes, Pollard indian meal and buttermilk.
