    him and he said to him " If you will not take up those tomb-stones I will tell you a secret". The man said that he would not take them up.The little man said "There is gold hidden in a field between that well and that (wel) fort". Then the little man disappeared. The man did not look for the gold it is there yet if it is.
    Not very many years ago all the people came to that well for water. Then they made wells for themselves.
