  1. A giant lived in Clarefield long ago. His name was Ceithearnach a Caoibhrinn. At the same time there was a giant in(Doo) Doonaha named Fuad na hadairche.
    Ceithearnach a Caoibhrinn went to Doonaha one day and stole Fuad na hadairche's hat. When Fuad na hadairche came home he could not find his hat, and his mother (Ce) told him that Ceithearnach a Caoibhrinn came and stole his hat. Fuad na hadairche got angry when he heard that, the gob so he followed him. He met Ceithearnach a Caoibhrinn at Doonaha river.They had a fight and Ceithearnach a Caoibhrinn killed Fuad na hadairche and he buried him there and put a flag over him and they say a black cat minds that flag every night.
