    and then one of the horses legs got broken so they had to stop working then.
    They had cattle left in around the blessed well, and they were told to drive them out, but they refused to do so, until St. Martin would catch the thief who was stealing the corn. So the next morning the thief was found on the fence with a beart of corn on his back.
