- There are three forges in the parish and the smiths are Messrs. Ryan, Bourke and O'Dinsen. Their people have been smiths for a great many years. Mr. Ryan's forge is situates by a running stream, Mr. Bourke's by a crossroads and Mr. O'Dinsen's stands bu the roadside.
