    Prescription: 1 lb. of Hop’s Lard.
    1/2 Pt. sweet oil.
    1/2 Pt. turpentine
    2 ozs. Bees Wax.
    2 ozs. Mercury.
    Melt lard & Bees Wax. Add turpentine & S. oil. Keep stirring. Add mercury. Compounded into an ointment. Preserve in jar.
    Slánlus for burn.
    Sulphate of Zinc dissolved in boiled water -strong or weak as desired. 1 oz. to Pt. for soft eyes.
    Marshmallow for chilblains
    Gilcock for Kidney trouble - stew for hours
    Root of fern - wash well. Boil. bottle and give glass every morning
    Bear’s tongue for lumbago. boil in milk
    Yarrow for lumbago
    Mick (? ) - Mac an Gabha. Fluid son BSmith
    healing passes (? ) seventh son in succession. Seventh daughter.
    Bone setting runs in families.
    Jaundice

    Celandine stewed in milk for Stomach troubles.
