  1. This prayer is said going to bed and in bed.
Jesus the branch and Mary the flower.
Jesus be with me at my hour
Jesus be with when I am in sin
Jesus be with when I am alone
And Jesus be with me when I have none
When in bed this prayer is said
As I lay my right hand side praying to God to be my guide if any evil come to me. "Stoop down Jesus and cover me"
This prayer is said at mass
May God be with me and forgive me my sin. May he always show his divine countenance and give me his holy benediction. Amen
This prayer is said on Good Friday
God Bless Good Friday and every Friday too. The day our Saviour was Crucified. His blessed mother standing by with a heavy heart and a mournful sigh.
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
