Before that he was curate in Tipperary town and while there the following incident occurred. He had a sister a nun who was buried in a plot near the convent. The landlord wanted to have her remains raised. He gave the Rev Mother until noon next day to have the remains removed. If this order was not complied with then the soldiers were to remove the coffin.
