    1. When a person changes from one house to another, or opens a new shop,
    or going into a new job, they always consider it lucky in Adare to do these things on Friday.
    2. When a visitor is received into a new house, they consider it lucky to bring a piece of bread into the house with them.
    3. If a person finds a piece of coal on the road they always pick it up and bring it home with them for luck.
    4. It is considered unlucky to get married on a Saturday.
    Wednesday is considered a lucky day to get married.
