    decided to put a stone into a box every day she went to mass, and to count them when she was very old. At the end of her time she opened the box, and to her great surprise she found only one stone in the box, which was a sign that she had heard only one good mass during her life.
    2. One day a poor shepherd went to hear Mass, while he was there a rainbow shone in the window and he threw his coat on it and the rainbow held it up. Then he saw a beautiful lady who attracted him and he did not attend mass properly.
