    They are near by a very large old fort, and are a reminder of days gone by.
    Then up to us are some at least of the remains of that fort of "Giphline" of which we hear so much of where Askeaton Castle stands. In this part are seen the round buildings with which the very ancient built.
    Whoever lives in Lismakeera ought to know where the one eyed stone at the fort lies. Little is known of its history unless like the stone it Cúige Ligáin, its edge turns
