  1. My cousin, William Stokes told me that there was hidden treasure in my Townland. It is hidden under a crab apple tree. It is said that no one would ever get it, untill one life is lost. It could not be got during the day but at night. So one night three men, were coming from a fair, and they drunk.
    So they said they would go, and look for the Gold. Off they went with spades and shovels, and started to dig under the crab-tree. They were not digging long when a mad bull came roaring
