    Swift runners-
    Many years ago there lived a man called Noonan. He was a great runner, and he lived in Cappagh near Ballingrane. He was one of the greatest runners in his time, he ran several races in England as well as in Ireland. There was also another man named Michael O'Neill who was also a swift runner, and he lived in Curragh near Askeaton.

  2. Great mowers-
    There was a man who used to mow an acre of hay used to mow and acre of hay in the day at his case. His name was Halpin and he lived at Mount Trenchard The mowers that used to mow with him, were surprised.
