In this locality, boots and shoes are made and repaired locally. There are only two shoemakers in the district, and I cannot say if the trade is traditional in the families.
Before those shoemakers arrived, several cobblers lived about here, who roughly soled and patched shoes. The increased circulation of money at present accounts for the change.
No clogs were ever made or leather manufactured in this locality.
