- There is a fort which belonged to the Danes in the townland of Courtstown. It is the shape of a circle. There is a hole entering it. Anyone never entered inside. When the field is ploughed it is never interfered with. It was the Danes that made the fort to hide in it. Lights were seen there at night and music was heard there.
