  1. Long ago there lived a farmer in Little Island who was a Fenian. A soldier came to the farmer's wife looking for Fenians. The farmer's wife went out and called out, Fenians, Fenians, Fenians. The hens and the ducks ran up to her. She said what do you think of them for Fenians. The soldiers went away, and said nothing.
