On my farm there is a ruin of a thatched chapel.

On my farm there is a ruin of a thatched chapel. It used to be thatched every second year by a man named Mr. Gorman. The local priest who used to say mass was Father Horgan and he lived in Glengoura where Mr. Pat Condon is living now. The ruin of the altar is still to be seen in Lisnabrin. There was also not far from my house a thatched school-house in the townland of Ballyculane where my grand-father went to school. The teachers name was Mr. Murray.
