   Pains Forge water is good for pains if rubbed on with a dock-leaf. The weed called Yarrow is boiled down strained and bottled and used as a cure for pains. The sufferer must drink a wine glass full before meals. Goose grease is also good for pains if well rubbed in Tooth-ache. Tie a wollen stocking around your jaw and lie on the sore side when in bed. Put a frog in your mouth and make him screech three times. If there is a hole in the tooth fill it with candle grease. Sore Eyes. Wash or bathe twice a day with cold tea. Rub your fasting spit to them when you wake in the morning. If red and inflamed bathe with hot urine. Head - ache. Soak brown paper in vinegar and tie tightly round the forehead.
