  1. Near my house there is a field called the "chapel field" because in ancient times mass used to be said there and where it used to be said, there is now a very old tree. One night as a man was going home he saw a man praying there. There is another field called "the hang man's field" because three men were hanged there.
    There is another field called "pairc na geata" because there are a great many gates leading to it.
