  1. One evening a woman named Mrd. Ryan was coming home with milk from a farmers house. She was coming (home) near a turn in the road when an accident had happened. A girl was riding a pony when suddenly she was thrown off the pony and drawn along the road for some way. Mrs Ryan heard the awful noise of where the girl was thrown off the pony and dragged along the road for some way. This girl must have come back for something for Mrs. Ryan said it happened he very same as it did the day she was knocked down. Mrs. Ryan met a little boy on the road going for milk also. She asked him if he had met a girl riding a pony, but he said he saw nobody
