    It is supposed that there is gold hidden in Mr Noonan's land, in the townland of Manning in the parish of Glanworth Co Cork.
    Some men dreamt about it several nights in succession. One moon-light night six men set out to unearth it.
    One of the six men had a lame leg. When they had dug about three feet they heard the wild roaring of a bull.
    Five of the men ran leaving the lame man behind. The lame man dropped himself into a bunch of briars. After a while he
