    for. In the meantime, Kelly suggested that the buyers would give another fiver and the matter would be hushed up, which the buyer willingly consented to do as they had no wish to go before the Judge, and so after paying the money they went off as quickly as they came. No sooner had they gone a safe distance than the ganger told Kelly to throw in the leg to him as it was thrown on the floor which he did. It was only an artificial leg which he strapped on again in a short time and called for drinks of ale. The ale that was spilt on the table was like blood.
