    Blessed Virgin had washed her baby. The woman took her to a cot near the fire-place in the kitchen, and showed her a lovely baby but it was covered with sores. When the Blessed Virgin saw the little baby she told the woman to wash the baby in the water left after the washing of her baby.
    When the woman had obeyed the little baby was cleansed of its sores. The woman was very pleased with the Blessed Virgin and thanked her gratefully. Then they all rested for the night, and
