  1. Vagabond Rock is situated between Healy's Bridge and Coachford Junction. It is in the townland of Coolatubbrid, in Inniscarra Parish. It was a terrible place in years gone by. Country people got robbed here coming home from Cork. Robbers used to hide in the rock and hold up the people and take their money and goods away. Thus it got the name "Vagabond Rock".
