  1. "Poulalady" is a big hole in the river Martin between Waterloo and Grenagh. It is in the townland of Ballymartin, Blarney Parish, Co. Cork. It is called "Poulalady" because a lady in white clothes was seen there one night. She dived into the water and no more was ever seen or heard of her.
