    Rathmore called the City.
When calling the pigs we say Bon! Bon!
    " " " hens " " Tuk! Tuk!
    " " " sheep " " Tune! Tune!
    " " " donkey " " Brussel! Brussel!
    " " " ducks " " Feen! Feen!
    " " " geese " " Bad! Bad!
    " " " turkeys " " Tee! Tee!
    " " " cat " " Puss! Puss!
When the goats are doing any harm we say High Scour! High Scour!
When hatching eggs we put the sign of the cross on them with a smoky stick or shake holy water on them or number them. When hatching eggs are gol[?] or given away one is given in with every dozen. If the eggs are given for nothing a luck penny is always demanded.
A week before duck eggs come out some people shake water on them to weeken the shell.
