On site of the old church in Ballingarry two lighted candles were seen for a long time after the church was pulled down. They were on the very place where the altar had been. Many people from Ballingarry district had seen them. (living people of present) It was reported to the priest who did not believe it. However in company with some who had seen them he went there one night. At about 9 oclock they appeared. The priest prayed for a long time from his missal. Since then they have not been seen.
