   In Mr. Woulfe's farm at Ringenane there's a ruin of a Priest's house. The place is known to the people as "Gleann na Sagart'. When Mr Woulfe came to Ringenane about fifty years ago he took some of the stones from the walls but part of the walls can be seen yet. The avenue to the house from Mountlong road can be traced but much of it is overgrown with briars and furze. I remember hearing my grandfather talk of the priest who lived there. He was the last and his name was Fr. Edward O'Connell of Kinsale. He died and was buried in Passage. With the house were two fields. The Heard family of Pallastown had the rest of the land then. It would be about 150 years since a priest lived in "Gleann na Sagart".
