  1. 1. Long ago Daddy was coming from the "main road" and he thought he saw a girl lighting on the road by Long's lane.
As he was coming nearer to her she went up on the fence and went in over it.
He looked in over the fence and she had disappeared.
Some time after, Mr. Long (R.I.P.) saw the same thing and some time after Mrs. Long died.
    2. As Daddy was going to Castlemore, he saw a fairy on the road and the horse would not pass it for a long time but he was all sweat.
    3. Long ago Bishop Galvin's father (R.I.P.) lived north of Newcestown.
One morning he was going to the fair and he saw a ghost on the road.
The horse would not pass it because horses are afraid of ghosts.
