There is a fort near my house in Ballinscubbig called Lios a' Radharc.

There is a fort near my house in Ballinscubbig. It is called Lios a Radhairc. It is in the townland of Ballinscubbig and in the parish of Ballinaspittle. It was a fine place for hurling. People used to come from all parts of the country.
The Danes used to draw water to it from the river in the old times.
You could see a great distance from the summit.
There are little doors in the fort where the Danes used to go in and out.
