  1. The Chapel of Charming Rossmore
As I strolled out one fine Sunday morning.
On a landscape all covered with green,
Conveyed by a sweet little warbler
In the cool shady groves of Kilmeen
I stood for a while in meditation
On a green mossy bank all alone
    Intending to make an oration
On the beautiful church of sweet Rome
The Hass bell was melodiously tolling
    Extending its notes to Glandore
Like hold claps of thunder came rolling
From the chapel of charming Rossmore
For a short while these took my station
And I stood for a while to admire
At the Cross of everlasting salvation
Erected on its proud lofty spire.
