  1. A Song (continued)

I am, a young married man that is tired of life.

    (continued from previous page)
For my wife she'd stop drinking your cod liver oil.
So when she got well, of course she got strong,
And then I got jealous of Doctor dear John.
O' Doctor, O' Doctor, O' dear Doctor your cod liver oil is so pure and so strong.
I am afraid of my life to go down in the Sile for my wife she'd stop drinking your cod liver oil.
It's well I remember the big Doctor's shop it is covered with bottles from bottom to top.
And then in the morning when the kettle would boil,
You would swear it was sinking your cod liver oil,
O Doctor, O Doctor, O dear Doctor John your cod liver oil is so pure and so strong,
I am afraid in the Sile for my wife she'd stop drinking your cod liver oil.
