    years of age in the townland. They do not know Irish, but have a good speaking knowledge of English.
    There is a disused lime-kiln in the townland, which in former days was kept very busy. For miles around the farmers came and took lime for their farms. It has been idle for years, but it is well preserved and looks just as it did in the year 1830 when it was first working.
