    A cure they had for burns was an ointment made from butter. They would boil unsalted butter. When it would get hard they would rub it on the burn and it was supposed to cure it.
    A cure they had to get a thorn out of their foot was to get the tongue of a dead fox and put it up to it and it would take the thorn out.
