  1. Only one burial-ground in this school-district - at Bealach Baoi, on the W. side of school. Nearly all who die from E. side of school are buried at Allihies.
    Bealach Baoi burial-ground, sloping S. was a "cillíneach" before consecrated - neither round nor square. No church or ruin of church in it. One tomb in it - a man called Cian (Catháin) ÓMathghuina[?] said to be buried there ÓMathgamhna[?] was a bachelor who lived in the neighbourhood with his sister Máire who was married to a Ruaidhrí Mhac Thaidhg. Máire is said to be buried beside the tomb but not in it. no OMahony here now.
