    2. Puiseach Bhuidhe - yellow in colour found in root and grain crops.
    3. Dock root. - Boiled for horses' cough.
    4. Caiseamháin (dandelion) - used to be given when cut up - to pigs, also a cure for liver disease
    5. Bonakeen - cure for warts - poisonous - also used to poison trout.
    6. Wild Sage,
    Camomile Boiled together was a cure for strains.
    7. Cussduff - a green plant. This was boiled when person was ill. If it became black the person would not recover if it remain a light green he would get well presently.
    8. Macksaw Law - used to cure boils.
    9. Holly & Ivy - given to diseased cows.
    10. Hemlock - given to young foals.
    11. Chicken-weed - a cure for bad sight
    12. Fox glove ("fairy-Thimble") - a cure for weak heart.
    13. Briar. leaves - a cure for dysentery.
    14. Watercress - good for the blood.
    15. Nettles - given to fowl, when boiled it cures asthma.
