    My name is John Holland a brave Irish boy.
    For Ireland I live and for Ireland I'll die.
    Ill fight for my country like the patriots of yore.
    So thank God we have a parliament house in Madore.

    Such sounding of horns and ringing of tins.
    Tar barrels blazing in strength of the funds
    Such cheering for Ireland oer and oer
    So now we have a parliement house in Madore.

    Now to look for the glazier,
    he is easly found.
    He is brave Batty Brien
    he is both yellow and sound.
