“There is a Castle near the mouth of Castlehaven harbour...”
There is a Castle near the mouth of Castlehaven harbour. It is from the castle it got its name Castlehaven. There was a lot of battles fought there between the Irish and English long ago. The castle is after falling now, it was knocked down by a storm two years ago. The owner of the castle was Sir Hubert Townsen. He and all his people are buried near the castle in Castlehaven graveyard. Theie graves are inclosed by a high iron railing. The battle axes and spears which they fought with are on top of that railing.(continues on next page)- Collector
