  1. A person who owned a large farm of land was called a landlord. The people who rented it were called tenants. In some cases some of those landlords owned land for miles of the country and derived a very large income out of his estate.
    The landlord of Anratabeg was a man named Baffe who lived down near Castlerea but he sold his rights to his tenants many years ago.
    The rent of these lands were fairly high but
