  1. There are many kind of hens in this district. Here are some of them. Sussex, Rhode Island Red, Wyandottle, Plymouth, Rock, Leghorn, Black Minorca, Banted Rock.
    The Sussex are the most suitable fowl for table use. These are white with black necks.
    The Rhode Island Reds are best for laying eggs and for table use. These are red.
    The Wyandotte is the best of all for laying. These are white.
