The evicted people used to go to America and to Scotland. The land used to be divided up into farms under them. They were punished for small acts. James Reynolds was punished for cutting bushes on his own farm without the landlords orders. They used to collect tithes in the district. They used to be collected in (tithes)/kind and often in money.
