    The tinkers are still travelling from place to place in the country. They travel in caravans and they generally go to a sheltry spot. The women go around from house to house begging, and asking charities, and the men ask turf and hay.
    The tinkers were always going from house to house.
    There is a very sheltered spot on a road near our house called by the local people, "Connor's line" and "Cally Head" by the tinkers.
