    He was told to go to a forge and steal a small amount of the water in which the blacksmith cools the horse-shoes. He did this and poured a few drops into the milk before starting to churn. He stated that he was 'afraid' of all the butter that was got.
    6. It is not right to 'lend' salt. People say that it is possible to bring butter with salt.
    7. Some people ask buttermilk so as to be in a position of mixing it with the cream before churning. It is said that this ensures your neighbour's supply of butter.
