  1. (Note - Morette Castle, a castellated mansion now in ruins. One of the fortified residences belonging to the 16th & 17th Centuries. Outer walls remain.) Belonged to the Fitzgeralds -)
    Tradition states that during the rebellion of 1641, the "rebels" captured Fitzgerald outside the mansion. His Mrs. (evidently more circumspect)
