    May is an unlucky month to get married in.
    An old custom was to give furniture as a dowry
    Another old custom was to throw rice at the couple.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wensday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    Saturday no day at all.
    Matches made by women are supposed to be unlucky.
    The unlucky days to get married on, are Saturday, Friday and Thursday.
